Grant has over 40 years of legal experience in general litigation and office pratice with an emphasis on Probate, Real Estate, and General Business Representation.
Grant was born in Holton and did his undergraduate work at K-State and, earned his law degree from KU. While at KU, Grant was an editor of the Kansas Law Review. Grant has been prolific in speaking and writing on topics concerning employment law and commercial real estate in recent years.
Grant is an active member of St. David's Episcopal parish. He is Past-President of the Topeka Downtown Rotary Club.
Grant is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area, and President of the board of the Friends of the Free State Capitol Inc., which owns and is restoring Constitution Hall, which served as the state capitol until 1869. He is a past member of the Kansas Arts Commission. He is a founder of the annual high school art competition: "KANSANS . . . AS TALENTED AS YOU THINK!"
Grant's family enjoys a cabin on the lake at historic Lakeview, Kansas. He and his wife Donna have six adult children and nine grandchildren.
